Milk Monster

Delete your account

Milk Monster

You can permanently delete your Milk Monster account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app (fastest)

Open Milk Monster and go to Settings → Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm, and deletion happens immediately.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by reply when it’s done.

What gets deleted

  • Always: your account (email, display name, sign-in identity), your device push tokens, and the record of how you used the app are permanently deleted. If you’ve asked us to stop emailing you, your address stays on our do-not-contact list so we don’t send it getting-started or product emails again.
  • If you are the only member of your household: your baby’s entire log — feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, growth, milestones, photos, and notes — is permanently deleted with it. Photo files are removed from storage within 48 hours.
  • If other caregivers share your household: the shared log, including its change history, remains available to them, and your past entries are no longer attributed to you. Our record of a getting-started message we already sent you can keep your first name until the family itself is deleted.
  • If you signed in with Apple: Milk Monster stays listed under Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account. To remove it, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad (not Settings inside Milk Monster), tap your name, tap Sign in with Apple, tap Milk Monster, then tap Delete and confirm.

Retention

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Apart from the do-not-contact list above, we don’t keep copies of deleted accounts beyond daily database backups, which expire automatically after 7 days. Whether or not you subscribed, RevenueCat (our subscription service) keeps its own record of you — your account ID, any purchases, your phone’s details and, on iPhone and iPad, whether one of our ads led to your install. Deleting your account doesn’t remove it; email us and we’ll ask them to delete it. We never sell your data — see our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
